Methods of Radiation Dose Intensification for High-Risk Prostate Cancer

At the 2023 ACRO Radiation Oncology Summit, Gerard Morton, MD, Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook Research Institute, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, discussed dose intensification in radiotherapy for patients with high-risk prostate cancer.

Dr Morton discusses different methods of dose intensification, such as using advanced imaging to selectively dose-escalate to only the area of gross disease, low- or high-dose brachytherapy, and stereotactic body radiotherapy.
