Proprietary Nanofiber Mimics Human Tissue to Help Treat Wounds

Nanomedic Technologies Ltd (Global Park Lod, Israel) created a new medical device that emits a nanofiber second skin that develops into a secure physical barrier with tough adherence to cover an area that needs to heal. This new device eliminates the need for direct contact that can cause a patient pain, such as bandage dressings. Once the patient’s skin regenerates under the protection of the “second skin”, the layer naturally peels off.
