New Wound Management App Launched

Wound management and prevention company, Synergy Wound Technology (San Diego, CA), launched its newest mobile, cloud-first software-as-a-service application, InteliWound. This cloud-based wound management system is designed to reduce costs and improve the delivery of care to patients.

The mobile iPad app and web portal provides precise, volumetric measurements through a 3-dimensional camera and a proprietary wound scoring system for tracking outcomes and healing progression. In addition, the app makes treatment plan suggestions with application instructions and wound supply and durable medical  equipment recommendations. Notably, the app can also provide real-time communication between a clinician and a designated wound care professional.
