New Ambient Temperature Membrane Launched

Osiris Therapeutics Inc (Columbia, MD) launched GrafixPL PRIME, a human placental membrane that can be stored at ambient temperatures, in the United States market. The product’s structural matrix, growth factors, and cell viability are equivalent to the original Grafix, which needs to be stored cryonically. This new membrane is a flexible but conforming application for hard-to-treat acute and chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and thermal burns.
