Major Patient Milestone for Remote Therapy Monitoring

KCI, an Acelity company (San Antonio, TX), announced that its remote therapy monitoring (RTM) program, iOn PROGRESS, has reached its 10 000th patient. The remote monitoring, which works in conjunction with the ACTIV.A.C. Therapy System (KCI, an Acelity company), is the first-to-market system that delivers continuous monitoring of negative pressure wound therapy in the home care setting. With secure transmission of data to KCI’s iOn PROGRESS Care Network. the RTM system allows Virtual Therapy Specialists to monitor compliance data and call patients to increase proper prescribed adherence.

In addition to the patient milestone, the RTM has tracked more than 300 000 therapy days and placed more than 30 000 engagement calls to patients and clinicians.
