Initial Results Show Regenerative Healing of Skin
02/22/2018
PolarityTE (Salt Lake City, UT) announced the initial results of a clinical application of its recently launched SkinTE, a platform which uses a patient’s own cells to create a custom construct for skin regeneration. These new results yield similar outcomes to previous preclinical research that resulted in regenerative healing of full-thickness skin with all layers and glands. The product has been used to treat chronic, surgical, and reconstructive wounds and acute burns at multiple medical facilities across the country.
The company expects the clinical study’s final results to be available later in 2018 along with peer-reviewed publications.
