Divested Wound Product Acquired by New Company

Hydrofera LLC (Manchester, CT) announced that the company has acquired the Hydrofera business from Hollister Inc (Libertyville, IL). The terms of the sale were not disclosed. Tom Drury, a principle founder of the purchaser, will serve as the new business’s chief executive officer after serving as the chief operating officer until his retirement in 2016.

Hollister purchased the recently divested business in 2012. It will continue to provide customers with the wound care product until the purchaser begins distribution.
