Better Wound Care Possible Due to New Method to Treat Biofilm

Binghamton University, State University of New York (Binghamton, NY), researchers announced the development of a new dispersion method that can kill biofilm bacteria, ultimately resulting in better wound care. Biofilm infections are a challenge to treat using conventional antibiotic therapy, but the combination of conventional antibiotics and biofilm dispersion has proven to be significantly more effective.
