Acquisition Adds German Wound Care Company

Mönlycke Health Care (Gothenburg, Sweden), a global leader in medical solutions, announced its acquisition of wound care products company SastoMed GmbH (Georgsmarienhütte, Germany). The deal adds 2 innovative products to the Swedish company’s portfolio, including Granulox, a hemoglobin-based topical oxygen therapy spray, and Granudacyn, a hypochlorous wound irrigation solution. These new products, in addition to a portfolio that includes a variety of advanced wound care, surgical attire, turning and position, and skin care products, will help lead the way in active and passive wound healing.
