Aviles, Shindell Collaborate at Wound Care Roundtable Event

Today’s Wound Clinic editorial advisory board members Frank Aviles Jr., PT, CWS, FACCWS, CLT, and Roger Shindell, MS, CHPS, CISA, recently participated in a wound care roundtable event in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The “Management of Challenging Wounds” educational program, part of an ongoing series of events organized and hosted by Aviles, offered free continuing education credits to nurses this winter. Topics of
discussion and education included wound bed preparation, wound infection, compression, and HIPAA. Donato A. Viggiano, MD and Marina Maduro, PT, DPT, WCC, CLT-LANA, helped make up a live panel presentation/discussion along with Shindell and Aviles.
