Description: Silvasorb Gel is the original antimicrobial silver hydrogel, providing a barrier against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including MRSA and VRE.
It’s especially effective for difficult-to-dress wounds that are infected or susceptible to infection. Microlattice release technology suspends ionic sliver within a molecular “scaffolding.” Simply squeeze the tube, and the continuous; controlled release of silver begins as soon as the gel touches a wet or dry wound, maintaining a moist wound environment. It’s also non-irritating to delicate wound tissue, nonstaining to skin, and because it remains active for up to three days, it requires less frequent dressing changes.
