SAWC Gets Major Endorsement From Colorado Gov.
In conjunction with the
2013 Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Spring/Wound Healing Society (SAWC Spring/WHS) event, Colorado Gov. John W. Hickenlooper has proclaimed May 2013 as “Chronic Wound Care Awareness Month.” The conference will be held May 1-5 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. More than 2,000 physicians, podiatrists, nurses, therapists, and researchers are expected to participate.
“It is most gratifying and extremely powerful to have the governor of the beautiful state of Colorado recognize the importance of having the largest wound healing meeting held in the state, as well as make this number of wound professionals feel recognized and welcome,” said
Dot Weir, RN, CWON, CWS, co-chairperson for SAWC Spring/WHS and co-editor of
Today’s Wound Clinic.
Accredited by the
North American Center for Continuing Medical Education LLC, Millstone Township, NJ, and managed by
