Defining Medication Stewardship: Medical Literature

Arash Mostaghimi, MD, MPA, MPH, is an assistant professor of dermatology, director of Inpatient Dermatology Consult Service, and co-director of the Complex Medical Dermatology Fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Primarily his research consists of  understanding variations in dermatologic care and optimizing resource utilization including encouragement in patient autonomy, and reduce disparities. Additionally, he is an associate editor at JAMA Dermatology. 

Prior to his session at SDPA Fall 2021, Dr Mostaghimi discussed medication stewardship and what the impact from recent medical literature has over the practice.
