A Fatal Case of Ventricular Septal Rupture Following Inferior ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction
Video 1. Color Doppler echocardiography demonstrating turbulent, multicolored blood flow through the ventricular septal rupture and left-to-right shunting.
Video 2. Two-dimensional echocardiography imaging demonstrates a large ventricular septal defect measuring 11 mm in width. The defect is clearly visualized as a significant opening in the ventricular septum. No color Doppler was used in this view, focusing on the structural characteristics of the defect.
