Texas Sheriff`s Department Offers Active Shooter Training to Local Businesses

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office has opened active shooter training to civilian businesses.

"We take a walk around their place of work. We identify exits, we identify safe rooms and we show them the same way you would do a fire drill is the same way you would want to evacuate an incident," said Rick Garcia, senior deputy and active shooter training instructor.
