My Real Life Moment: A Winning Attitude - Amy Van Dyken

Six-time Olympic medalist Amy Van Dyken-Rouen suffered a severe ATV accident leaving her with paralysis due to a spinal cord injury. Amy and her husband, Tom were determined to get the best possible rehabilitation for her type of injury and made the decision to go to Craig Hospital in Denver. They contacted Angel MedFlight, and we were honored to be able to assist Amy in taking the next step in her new life. Angel MedFlight documented Amy’s transport and followed up after two months of rehab. The progress she has made, and continues to make, in her recovery is inspiring.
