Code Green Campaign Granted Federal 501(c)(3) Status

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas - The Code Green Campaign is proud to announce that it is officially a public charity that has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service, making it a federally recognized tax-exempt organization.

Any donations made to The Code Green Campaign since it was incorporated on April 3, 2014, are retroactively tax-deductible in full. The Code Green Campaign is also now eligible to apply for many grants and programs that will broaden its access to resources and funding, strengthening its ability to fulfill its mission to bring awareness to and reduce the high rates of mental health problems in first responders.

“We are incredibly happy that our 501(c)(3) status has been granted.” says vice-president and co-founder Kyle Norris. “This designation is vital to being recognized as a charity and ensures accountability and transparency during our continued growth. Without it our ability to serve first responders with mental health problems would be severely impaired.”

The IRS letter granting The Code Green Campaign its 501(c)(3) status is available upon request. Requests and donation inquiries can be sent to admin@codegreencampaign.org.

The Code Green Campaign was founded in 2014 to bring awareness to the high rates of mental health problems and suicide in first responders.
