Woman on ATV Rescued After 2-Hour Search in Pa.
BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. --
A two-hour search in south Beaver County ended with a sigh of relief Saturday night after searchers found a woman who had been separated from the rest of her group when she crashed her ATV.
Investigators said the woman, whose identity has not yet been released, injured her leg in the crash.
When her friends could not locate her, a massive search broke out along Blackhawk and Moore roads.
Multiple fire companies responded on foot and on ATVs, and a police helicopter was also called to the scene to aide in the search.
The victim was found just after 9:30 p.m. and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police in south Beaver County are investigating.
