The Academy is now accepting submissions for the following awards and lectureships to be presented at The 2018 American Academy Dermatology’s Annual Meeting, which will take place Feb. 16-20, 2018, in San Diego.
The recipient of the Clarence S. Livingood, MD, Award and Lectureship will address broader issues related to the art and specialty of dermatology. The awardee is not required to be a dermatologist, but he or she should be an expert in the topic to be presented. The Marion B. Sulzberger, MD, Memorial Award and Lectureship will be presented to a doctor whose research has provided significant contributions to clinical knowledge. The award is intended to recognize younger researchers. The Lila and Murray Gruber Memorial Cancer Research Award and Lectureship is meant to encourage participation in cancer research and enrich dermatologists’ knowledge in the field. The award will recognize a physician or scientist who has made outstanding contributions to cancer research.
All honorees will receive a $10,000 cash award and present their lecture at the meeting.
