The decision to start a patient with psoriasis onto a systemic agent for disease management is an important conversation. The three classes of biologics, which inhibit TNF, IL-17, or IL-23, have been shown to be advanced options for the management of psoriasis, but these immune-mediating therapies require an overall evaluation of the patient and their disease.
