The Skin Cancer Foundation Partners with Amazon

The Skin Cancer Foundation will partner with online retailer Amazon. The partnership is designed to promote awareness for patients with skin cancer and address education initiatives.

Under the partnership, Amazon will work with The Skin Cancer Foundation to extend the Foundation’s skin cancer message to a wider audience through content sharing. Select feature articles from the Foundation’s content library will be featured in Amazon’s Professional Skin Care Section, and will cover topics including seasonal sun protection, the importance of early detection of skin cancer, and tips on reversing sun damage.

Additionally, Amazon will support the Foundation’s educational initiatives including, SkinCancer.org, Sun Smart U, the Foundation’s youth education program, and Heads Up!, an early detection education program for beauty professionals. Amazon is also a “Heroes for Health” Sponsor of The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Annual Champions for Change Gala.

“When you consider the prevalence of this disease and how many people will see our messages, we know that lives will be saved,” said Deborah S. Sarnoff, MD, president of The Skin Cancer Foundation. “We’re grateful for Amazon’s support of our mission and we look forward to working together for many years to come.”
