Sneak Peek: 3rd Annual San Diego Dermatology Symposium
Join us for the 3rd Annual San Diego Dermatology Symposium® (SDDS) on March 11-13, 2022, at a live, in-person meeting at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California. The SDDS is sponsored by the Dermatology Research and Education Foundation (DREF). The SDDS is a 3-day long symposium that will offer 15 CME credits and educate practitioners on the latest developments in dermatology. SDDS was designed for dermatologists, dermatology residents, dermatology nurse practitioners, dermatology physician assistants, primary care physicians, and others involved in the care of patients with skin disease. A total of 14 renowned faculty will present updates on clinically relevant topics, including acne, actinic keratosis, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, atypical nevi, blistering disorders, dermoscopy, hidradenitis suppurativa, hyperhidrosis, hyper-/hypopigmentation disorders, melanoma, neutrophilic dermatoses, nonmelanoma skin cancer, pregnancy dermatoses, psoriasis, rosacea, and warts/molluscum. Aesthetic dermatology topics include acne scars, chemical peels, lasers, botulinum toxins, fillers, and skin-tightening strategies.
Jashin J. Wu, MD, will discuss a topic rarely seen at dermatology conferences: personal finance and stock investing. In his 50-minute lecture, he will discuss why and how to invest in stocks; the difference between stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs; stock terminology; how to analyze stocks; and the difference between various retirement accounts.
In addition, all who register for 2022 SDDS will receive automatic and complimentary registration to the virtual 2022 Skin Cancer Symposium and the Symposium for Inflammatory Skin Disease and receive an additional 15 hours of complimentary CME credit. Attendees will receive a total of 30 CME hours for attending 2022 SDDS!
DREF greatly supports medical education, so registration is free for the first 50 dermatology residents and dermatology fellows who register, as well as for all dermatologists who graduated in 2021.
The atmosphere of SDDS will have a flavor different from any other dermatology conference, incorporating learning with giveaways, prizes, and games that will keep engagement levels high for both attendees and exhibitors. Over 100 prizes will be given away!
