The Latest in Educational Opportunities in 2020

April 2020

With the rise of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) across the globe, medical conferences have been put on hold. Not immune to the virus was the 2020 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting, which was scheduled for late March. Even future meetings, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants 2020 Summer Dermatology Conference (formerly set to take place May 13-17, 2020), have canceled their events to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Dermatology is full of innovation, and some conferences are turning to the web to make sure the latest research and best practices are still promoted. Among those that have turned digital is Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis (RAD), which transformed into an online experience on April 5. RAD provided two cycles of mini-symposium and late-breaking research presentations, led by Jonathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH.

As meetings are rescheduled, planned, or pushed online, The Dermatologist will share that information across our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
