HP Announces New Digital Orthotic Solution
Arize Orthotic Solution, newly announced by HP Inc., is an end-to-end digital orthotic system that will allow providers to capture 3D data, fine-tune and prescribe personalized orthotic devices, all in less than five minutes, according to the company. Arize uses a combination of 3D printing and cloud-based software and provides unique customization features. The system starts with five device styles, with providers having the capability to approve, modify or adjust specific details based on individual patient factors, says HP.
The company also shares that the cloud-based structure of Arize allows all personnel in the office or facility to access their respective parts of the system to allow for enhanced collaboration and streamlined operations.
“Arize leverages proprietary HP innovations in digital software and data intelligence to provide a solution with highly accurate, repeatable and consistent digital workflows,” shares HP in a recent press release.
They add that devices produced with HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology can be made to optimize materials use while delivering fine detail combined with strength. 3D printing also brings production closer to the point of consumption, which simplifies supply chains and drives reductions in carbon emissions and waste.
HP developed Arize in collaboration with podiatrists and industry experts, with the goal of providing an innovative digital solution for swift, accurate, personalized and reliable creation of custom foot orthoses. For more information, go to ArizeClinical.com.
