Facilitating Better Alignment

The company says the wedges can help during heel ambulation and stabilize weak or rotating ankles. They can also decrease loading on the ankle joint, which can reduce pain, according to the company. The company recommends medial varus/valgus wedges for hyperpronation of the foot, shin splints, posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, chronic medial ankle instability, tibialis posterior tear, adult flatfoot, plantar fasciitis and subtalar instability.
