30-40mmHg—Severe varicose veins; edema; active patients with lymphoedema in ISL stage I-III with no or minimal shape distortion (not applicable for casual pattern); post–vein surgery; post-sclerotherapy; venous ulcers; CVI; manages manifestations of PTS; helps prevention of post thrombotic syndrome.

JOBST medical compression stockings should not be worn and are contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
Ischemia (eg, advanced arterial disease); uncontrolled congestive heart failure; untreated septic phlebitis; phlegmasia cerulea dolens; incompatibility to fabric.

Topbands contain silicone.
Caution: Products labelled on the packaging with “Latex” contain natural rubber (latex) which may cause allergic reactions
Consult your physician for advice if you have or experience:
Skin infections: weeping dermatoses; advanced peripheral neuropathy; severely compromised skin sensibility and impaired sensitivity of the limb; immobility (confinement to bed).
Conditions in which increased venous and lymphatic return is not desired.
Appropriate hygiene and skin care should be applied.
The attending physician decides whether compression in general can be applied to patients suffering from the following diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS; Morbus Sudeck), malignant lymphedema, gangrene.
Incorrectly measured and badly fitting compression garments may cause constriction leading to, eg, skin necrosis, pressure ulcers, and pressure related peripheral nerve damage. Open wounds should be covered with an appropriate dressing before the compression garment is put on.
Appropriate footwear must be worn when walking to help prevent falls.
Medical compression garments should only be used after consultation with your doctor or therapist and checked regularly by them on the appropriateness of your therapy, also considering age and health status.
Patient measurements should be taken by a trained person to determine the correct product size needed and to decide whether a made to measure or ready-to-wear garment is required.
Ill-fitting compression garments may cause constriction leading to, eg, skin necrosis, pressure ulcers, and pressure related peripheral nerve damage.
When re-ordering a garment after 6 months we recommend remeasuring the patient as the limb circumference might have changed.
If you notice discomfort, pain, numbness, changes in skin color, appearance of new wounds, or swelling during wear, stop using the product and contact your healthcare professional.
