Inflammatory Oligodendrocyte Precursor Cells and Remyelination in MS

In this video, Peter Calabresi, MD, discusses the findings from his study, which suggested that inhibiting immune activation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells may foster remyelination among patients with multiple sclerosis. Peter Calabresi, MD, is a professor of neurology, director of the Johns Hopkins Multiple Sclerosis Center, and director of the Divison of Neuroimmunology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
