Vince Martin: Hi, my name is Dr. Vince Martin. I'm the Director of the Headache and Facial Program at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I'm also president of the National Headache Foundation. And finally, I'm a primary care physician as well.

So, I practiced primary care for about the last 33 years. Hard to believe. It’s my pleasure to welcome you to Migraine360, which is our new educational program that is directed specifically for primary care physicians. I'm sure many of you know this, but headache and migraine complaints are about the 12th most common complaint as seen by primary care physicians. And primary care physicians care for the vast majority of patients with migraine within the United States.

So, this program is unique in that it will help you further diagnose migraine headache and in particular, develop a strategy for you to do that. In addition, we'll help you learn the red flags for secondary headache disorders, see some of the pitfalls to diagnosis in primary care. And then finally, we're going to talk about some of the older and many of the newer treatments, both acute and preventative for migraine headache. So, this course is geared specifically for primary care. And our goal is for you to raise the bar of migraine management within your practice. I hope you enjoy it.
