Merle Diamond: Hi, I'm Dr Merle Diamond from the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago, and I'm happy to be here today to talk about Migraine 360, which is a great new program that we're putting together to help us understand where we are with migraine today, what we understand about migraine disease, and all the nuances that help us to get patients the therapies that they need.

Migraine has changed. I've been doing headache for 32 years, almost 33 years, and the last few years have been super exciting for me as a clinician and for my patients because we have so many new therapies available for patients, both acutely and preventatively. And I think what this program can bring is this ability to mesh together what we understand about migraine disease and marry it to the new therapies that we have so that patients can have better outcomes in the long term.

We really worked hard putting this program together to bring in what we know about the population that suffers with this disease and what the important pieces are that can get them to live their lives more fully even though they have migraine attacks. And certainly understanding these news therapies and how they work within our patients and allow them to have a more normal life, even though they suffer from migraine, is really, really important.

So, I'm really excited to participate in this with Dr Martin. We worked really hard putting these slides together for everybody and you're going to have a great group of lecturers to give you their perspective on migraine and what the state of the art therapies are today, so thank you.
