Three-Dimensional Modeling for Bench Testing of Side-Branch Dilation Techniques

We sought to evaluate different side-branch dilation strategies after provisional T-stenting strategy with resorbable magnesium scaffolds using silicon bifurcation phantoms. Each model was scanned using a high-resolution x-ray micro-CT device. Acquisitions were performed with a field of view that was 10 mm in diameter, using an isotropic voxel size of 20 x 20 x 20 µm3 (90 kV; 160 µA; 180 s). These two-dimensional (2D) images were processed using HorosR software to create three-dimensional (3D) reconstructions, as demonstrated in the following video.
