Three Cases of Heavily Calcified Unprotected LM Disease Treated With Lithotripsy
Video Supplement to "Treatment of Heavily Calcified Unprotected Left Main Disease With Lithotripsy: The First Case Series Percutaneous Closure of a Poorly Tolerated Ventricular Septal Defect After Triple Valvular Prosthesis Surgery" [June 2019 New Devices article by Wong, et al].
This angiographic series demonstrates the utility of the Shockwave Intravascular Lithotripsy in a patient with LMCA disease with multivessel disease who declined surgery, a patient with isolated LMCA disease and severe cardiomyopathy, and a late nonagenarian patient where surgical revascularization was not an option. The use of Shockwave Intravascular Lithotripsy in these cases simplified lesion preparation and optimized procedural outcomes.
