Coronary artery vasospasm, or Prinzmetal angina, is a constriction of the coronary arteries that can cause complete or near-complete occlusion of the vessel. Usually, Prinzmetal angina affects only one coronary vessel; however, in the case demonstrated herein, it occurred simultaneously in three coronary arteries, and was totally relieved after nitrate administration.
