Coronary Angiography Visualization of Late Pulmonary Cement Embolism

Video Supplement to “Late Manifestation of Pulmonary Cement Embolism Visualized by Coronary Angiography,” by Dogan, et al.

A 75-year-old female patient was admitted to the cardiology clinics with exertional dyspnea during daily activity. Coronary artery disease was ruled out with imaging; however, some lesions were observed in the lungs during visualization of the coronary arteries. Her medical history included percutaneous vertebroplasty 6 years prior; the following imaging series demonstrates that pulmonary cement embolism developed due to leakage of polymethylmethacrylate cement into the paravertebral venous plexus.
