Confirmation of Radial Artery Dissection: OCT Technique Without Guidewire Shadow

A 75-year-old man underwent right transradial coronary angiography because of acute myocardial infarction. Postprocedural radial angiography revealed a dissection with a spiral luminal filling defect in the proximal radial artery corresponding to an NHLBI type D dissection. The dissection was diagnosed with a novel OCT imaging technique, which is demonstrated in the following video series.
