Angiography Demonstrating the Concertina Effect

A 40-year-old male was admitted to the cardiology department with inferior-wall MI. He was taken to the cath lab for primary PCI. Angiography, demonstrated significant stenosis in the mid part of a tortuous right coronary artery. The following angiographic video shows PTCA with a Runthrough floppy guidewire, resulting in immediate appearance of a series of new “pseudolesions” in the right coronary artery.
