Angiographic Study of Very Late Stent Thrombosis 11 Years After DES Implantation

Video Supplement to “A Case of Very Late Stent Thrombosis 11 Years After Drug-Eluting Stent Implantation" [August 2019 Clinical Images article by Vijayvergiya et al].

Eleven years after DES implantation with 2 Cypher stents, a patient presented with AMI despite continued dual-antiplatelet therapy. This angiographic series reveals total occlusion of the proximal LAD, followed by a good final result after balloon dilation along the stented segment.
