Acadian Ambulance Hosts National Registry Simulation Training
01/23/2016
EMS directors from around the country gathered at Acadian Ambulance's Lafayette facility on January 21 and 22 to teach instructors the new approach to National Registry EMT testing.
The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) is changing its 12 skills testings to 5 simulated testing stations, and are teaching all EMS instructors the new regimen, so the new testing can begin in 2017.
Acadian’s EMS program has been heavily involved in the research of the new testing and for this reason, was chosen for the first 2016 workshop location.
