Body Armor Under Consideration for West Mich. Firefighters, Paramedics

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM) -- A wave of mass shootings around the country is setting off a new trend for West Michigan first responders trying to protect themselves.
At least a dozen non-police agencies, from firefighters to paramedics, are looking into body armor for their men and women.
WZZM 13 spoke to the Kentwood Fire Chief about why his department is looking into body armor.
