Mobile Integrated Healthcare: What Are Chicago`s Needs?

Chicago-area healthcare leaders are developing mobile integrated healthcare programs with community partners, including the Chicago Fire Department. Here Eric Beck, DO, University of Chicago EMS medical director, suggests seniors, injury prevention and high system utilizers as possible focus areas; Leslee Stein-Spencer, RN, MS, manager of medical administration and regulatory compliance for the Chicago Fire Department, discusses the mayor’s interest; and Charles Stewart III, first deputy fire commissioner for the Chicago Fire Department, talks about an earlier successful CFD program.
