SLICS (Super Light Intensive Care Stretcher) is constructed entirely of carbon fibre it is lightweight yet strong enough to withstand the loads required in the transport environment. Another of its key features is its smooth contoured base that allows it to easily slide onto any host stretcher thereby eliminating lifting. With a 4 point chest harness and two lap belt the patient is secure on the high density mattress, the back rest can be raised by adjusting the auto locking gas ram.
The medical bridge can carry a large range of medical monitors, ventilators and with the addition of the oxygen rack allows for complete portability and seamless transports where there is no need to disconnect the patient. The bridge mounted flow meter supplies Oxygen therapy or the gas plumbing allows for continuous ventilation. When available the unit is plugged into bulk supplies of Oxygen.
