10/25/2022
“It’s a supply chain issue.” You hear it everywhere, in all sectors of service, and EMS is no exception. We are in the midst of an ambulance procurement crisis and it’s not likely to improve anytime soon.
In the newest “Live From Expo” episode recorded at EMS World Expo 2022 in Orlando, EMS veteran and retired EMS chief Brian LaCroix, who currently serves as vice president and chief operations officer at Cambridge Consulting Group, sits down with Mike McCabe to examine steps you can take to minimize the disruption to your fleet.

Hi guys…sorry I missed this and it’s so on point. After 35+ years in EMS fleet leadership for manufacturers, dealers, and end-users…I am now immersed in this crisis both consulting on this matter and independently brokering new, used, and remounted ambulance for quick delivery. Previously as AMR’s VP of Fleet Resources I established a nationwide network of suppliers and managed maintenance for 7,000 + vehicles. So, I’m leveraging those contacts to find available units for agencies in urgent need, plus advising on maintenance and refurbishing programs to sustain existing fleets.
