Technimount Presents Xtension Pro Assistant–LP at AMTC SHIFT

Technimount EMS

PRESS RELEASE

Technimount EMS ("Technimount"), an affiliated company of Technimount System and leading provider of mounting solutions for medical devices, is proud to present during the AMTC SHIFT Conference 2021 its latest innovation, the Xtension Pro Assistant–LP.

Tested in compliance with FAA, 14 CFR 23, the Xtension Pro Assistant–LP ensures the safe transport of multiple medical devices during air critical care transport on the LifePort* cot. This highly flexible solution improves medical equipment management during patient transport and optimizes space within the aircraft.

The Xtension Pro Assistant–LP features a curved design that facilitates lateral patient transfer from bed/stretcher to cot, while the medical equipment is installed. This unique system increases flexibility and access to medical devices from all angles and improves patient care during air transport. The Xtension Pro Assistant–LP was developed by Technimount Engineering (Technimount Design Inc.) in collaboration with Airmedic, an innovative private Quebec company that provides medical assistance as well as transport anywhere in Canada by operating nine aircraft (six Pilatus PC-12, two helicopters EC145C2e, and one Pilatus PC-24).

"We are thrilled to be exhibiting for the first time at the AMTC SHIFT Conference 2021, bringing our most innovative solutions for air and ground critical care transport." said Carl Bouchard, founder and CEO of Technimount System. "With the challenges of medical device management and the safety of aircraft crews and patients in mind, the Xtension Pro Assistant–LP was designed to address their unique needs during air transport."

During SHIFT AMTC 2021 (Oct. 31–Nov. 2, 2021 in Fort Worth, Tex.), Technimount will also showcase its EMS World Innovation Award 2021 Finalist the  Neonatal Stretcher System, and the Bracket Pro Serie mounting systems for pumps such as the B.Braun Infusomat and Perfusor Space Pump (BP-80 FL), Baxter Sigma Spectrum Infusion Pumps (BP 120-FL), and Baxter Spectrum IQ Infusion Pump (BP 121-FL).
