NREMT Seeks Applicants for Prestigious EMS Research Fellowship
The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) is proud to offer a unique EMS Research Fellowship opportunity in partnership with The Ohio State University College of Public Health.
This rare opportunity incorporates the selected fellow as a working member of the NREMT and affords them a salary and benefits while fully funding their tuition as they pursue an approved doctoral course of study in Ohio State’s prestigious College of Public Health.
As they study, the fellow will work alongside a mentor at the NREMT, supplementing their education with hands-on research skill development, production of scholarly articles and other research-related duties. For the exceptional research fellow, post-doctoral opportunities with the NREMT in partnership with The Ohio State University Department of Emergency Medicine exist following the completion of their PhD.
Applicants must posses a bachelor’s or master’s degree and be capable of earning admission into their approved program at Ohio State. Applicants must also hold valid National EMS Certification through the NREMT.
The successful candidate should be a highly motivated field-experienced EMS professional who is committed to furthering the mission of NREMT research to contribute to the body of scientific out-of-hospital knowledge.
