BB gun shots cracked the window of an FDNY EMS ambulance as it drove through Queens Sunday night, police said.

The ambulance was passing the Wavecrest Gardens Apartments in Far Rockaway, on Seagirt Blvd. at Crest Road, when its crew heard loud cracks at about 9:15 p.m., and spotted two spider-web holes in the passenger-side window.

Police believe the window was shot at by a BB gun, possibly by vandals who weren’t aiming at anything in particular, cops said.

No one was injured, and police have not made any arrests, cops said.

Police and FDNY officials couldn’t say if the ambulance was carrying a patient.

“We’re grateful that our members were unharmed by this callous act,” said Oren Barzilay, the head of the FDNY EMS union.

“This exemplifies the increasing dangers the men and women of FDNY EMS routinely face," Barzilay said. "It makes no sense to hurt or possibly cause death to those who help people during their time of need.”
