Jan. 13--A LaGrange juvenile suffered burn injuries Monday morning when she lit herself on fire trying to re-create what she told police was a "game" she saw on the social-media website Facebook.

The girl told police she and here friends took turns putting rubbing alcohol on their hands and lighting it on fire, letting the flame burn out on its own.

The burn victim told police she decided to try the method with an aerosol oil sheen and the flame would not go out on its own.

"(The juvenile) stated that she waved her hands around and the flame would not go out," a police report said.

A friend of the girl called 911 and the girl was transported by ambulance to West Georgia Medical Center where she was treated.

Officers photographed the girl's injuries and she was release to her grandmother.
