Okla. State Fairgoers have Safety Center, Readiness Tips Available

Aug. 13--As more than 1 million people flood State Fair Park over 11 days for the Oklahoma State Fair, it is important to know what to do in case of a medical emergency.

Emergency medical personnel will be inside the Safety Center. The Safety Center is on the west end of the administration building on the corner of Land Rush and General Pershing, east of the Space Tower and Centennial Arch. The building is on the northeast corner of the property, across the street from the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center.

Fair staff at information booths can also help connect you with emergency personnel.

EMSA and fire department personnel will ride around the fair park on bicycles, and police officers will travel throughout the fair park. Some administrative staff will be on golf carts.

You can still dial 911.
