City Council Discovers More Tx. Medics Receiving the Wrong Wages

Less than a month after City Council members learned that an Austin-Travis County EMS medic was overpaid more than $200,000 over nearly nine years, the public safety agency has identified two other medics who also have received the wrong wages.
One captain was overpaid approximately $12,000 since November and another captain was underpaid approximately $4,000 since around February, EMS chief of staff James Shamard said Thursday.
