Lawsuit: Slow Response Led to N.Y. Girl`s Death

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Their 7-year-old daughter would be alive today if a city ambulance had responded quicker to emergency calls for help, a Clifton couple alleges in a $10 million lawsuit.

Joko C. Palmer, died Nov. 27, 2012, in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze, according to court papers and Advance reports. 

Her cause of death was deemed asthma-related.
