Medics Injured After Ambulance Rolls in Texas

Nov. 25--CORPUS CHRISTI -- Two medics were taken to the hospital after their ambulance overturned on U.S. Highway 77 and County Road 4 Monday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m. authorities responded to an ambulance found on its side on U.S. Highway 77 and County Road 4 near Bishop. No other vehicles were involved.
The ambulance's driver and passenger were taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg for evaluation. Department of Public Safety trooper Christopher Posada said they appeared to be in good condition and weather may have been a factor in the accident.
The ambulance, which belongs to Tiger EMS Inc. in Longview, was not carrying a patient at the time of the rollover.
