New `Lives on Fire` Series Premieres Friday
The all-new docu-series follows four women of CAL FIRE as they respond to emergencies throughout California, and share how the career affects their personal lives.
Viewers will witness the "drama, action and danger" as the featured firefighters respond to life and death situations. Then at the ending of each shift, the women open up about their personal lives and how they try to balance the unforgiving lifestyle with being mothers, wives, girlfriends and daughters.
The women include Rosanne Grier, in her sixth year as a seasonal firefighter hoping to become permanent; Diley Greiser, a mother and firefighter/paramedic adjusting to a new position at one of the busiest stations in Riverside County; Nica Vasquez, a mother with 12 years of experience as a firefighter/engineer; and Michele Dyck, a firefighter/engineer with 8 years of experience, who works in a coastal area known for its cliff and open water rescues.
